Craig made me a birthday cake this year, and he said it was his first time to ever make a cake! He had the kids' handprints on each side out of powder sugar. I thought it was so cute, I had to post a picture.

Monday's Entertainment
We've had some excitement around here last week.Monday we had a bulldozer come and clear out some brush and trees out of our yard. It made for some great entertainment all day.
Here they come!

A Southern Boy
I caught Noah with this jug of sweet tea in the kitchen the other day. He was helping himself to it along with his elephant circus cup, and a crazy straw. I'm not sure why he likes tea so much. He always wants some from adults that are drinking it around him. Thankfully he didn't have his little sister in on this act when I busted him.
Another First for Noah...
...with the assistance of his little sister. They caught their first frog tonight. We were busy talking to someone in the driveway while they were laughing and chasing this frog around. Next thing we know, Noah caught that frog in this plastic bug cup and found a seashell to hold him inside. He's so resourceful.

Meet 'Bread'
This is Noah's new baby, 'Bread' that he adopted at Babyland General this summer. When we were at the "hospital" he couldn't come up with a name for him on his adoption papers, but since then he has... and apparently it's 'Bread'. Bread will be in bed with him at night while Craig is reading books and Noah will say, "look at that Bread, he is fast asleep"!
I have to admit that wasn't too impressed with the new Babyland General. It just wasn't as quaint as the old one, but it did have this totally awesome cabbage chair going for it. Noah was full of questions about everything, and Macy just loves "babies". She is such a little girl! They were all tuckered out on the way home from all of the emotions and excitement of adopting a new baby.
Another First for Noah
We went to visit my aunt and uncle's new lake house on Labor Day weekend. Noah had his first tubing experience. This is funny to me because the first time the boat went out, he wanted no part of getting on it. The second time he was up for it. As soon as I looked around after boarding, I saw him and Craig out on the tube ready to go! I guess he got over his fear pretty fast. Macy took a good nap on the boat.
